Our treasurer, a native of Groningen, has a deep affection for the harriers that live around his home. He has a particular interest in the Marsh Harrier. His passion goes beyond the Dutch borders — he also follows harriers abroad and has taken the first steps toward research on these wide-ranging birds of prey in Vietnam.
